With the rapid increase in the proportion of people with dementia, the number of family caregivers providing unpaid care and support is also growing worldwide. Family caregivers are essential pillars of dementia management efforts, as they reduce the economic cost of care and play an important role in supporting the quality of life in people with dementia. While caregiving can provide a sense of fulfillment, the burden of caregiving can also cause significant psychological challenges. Family caregivers of people with dementia encounter unique, dynamic challenges in care provision as a result of the progressive nature of the condition. The progression of dementia can result in fluctuating and increased dependency of people with dementia in their care needs. In the context of caregiving this situation may lead to a higher risk of chronic stress, reduced quality of life, depression, poor social support, and an increased grief. Accordingly, it is increasingly important to address caregivers’ needs and well-being. Fortunately, various psychological interventions, including psychoeducation, psychotherapy, and cognitive behavioral approaches, have shown promise in addressing these negative impacts and supporting family caregivers.

معنی فارسی: زوال عقل، آلزایمر

زوال عقل معمولاً افراد مسن را تحت تأثیر قرار می‌دهد و حافظه و مهارت‌های فکری آن‌ها را تضعیف می‌کند.

علائم اولیه زوال عقل اغلب با روند طبیعی افزایش سن اشتباه گرفته می‌شوند.

معنی فارسی: مراقبان، پرستارها

معنی فارسی: تحقق، رضایت

 تحقق رؤیاهایتان نیازمند سخت کوشی و تعهد است. 

 

6. Burden

Syn: load, weight, responsibility, obligation 

معنی فارسی: بار، مسئولیت، فشار 

مثال‌ها: 

1. He felt the burden of responsibility after accepting the job.

 او پس از پذیرش کار احساس بار مسئولیت کرد. 

2. Financial burdens can be difficult to bear for many families.

بارهای مالی می‌توانند برای بسیاری از خانواده‌ها دشوار باشند. 

7. Encounter

Syn: meet, confront, face, come across 

معنی فارسی: مواجهه، روبرو شدن 

مثال‌ها:

1. During their trip, they encountered many challenges.

در طول سفرشان با چالش‌های زیادی روبرو شدند. 

2. I had a pleasant encounter with an old friend yesterday.

 دیروز با دوستی قدیمی مواجهه‌ای دلپذیر داشتم. 

 

8. Provision

Syn: supply, arrangement, preparation, allocation 

معنی فارسی: تأمین، تدارک 

مثال‌ها: 

1. The government is responsible for the provision of basic services.

 دولت مسئول تأمین خدمات اساسی است. 

2. He made provisions for his family in his will.

او در وصیت‌نامه‌اش تدارکات لازم برای خانواده‌اش را دیده بود. 

 

9. Progressive

Syn: ongoing, advancing, forward-thinking, gradual 

معنی فارسی: پیش‌رونده، تدریجی، مترقی 

مثال‌ها: 

1. The disease is progressive and worsens over time.

بیماری پیش‌رونده است و با گذشت زمان بدتر می‌شود. 

2. He is a progressive leader who embraces change and innovation.

او یک رهبر مترقی است که تغییر و نوآوری را می‌پذیرد. 

10. Fluctuating

Syn: changing, varying, oscillating, shifting 

معنی فارسی: نوسانی، متغیر 

مثال‌ها:

قیمت سهام کل ماه در حال نوسان بوده است. 

2. Fluctuating weather conditions make it hard to plan outdoor events.

شرایط آب‌وهوایی نوسانی برنامه‌ریزی رویدادهای بیرونی را دشوار می‌کند. 

 

11. Context

Syn: background, circumstances, situation, framework 

معنی فارسی: زمینه، بافت 

مثال‌ها: 

1. To understand the meaning of the word, you need to consider its context.

برای درک معنای کلمه باید زمینه آن را در نظر بگیرید. 

2. Historical context is important when interpreting old texts.

زمینه تاریخی هنگام تفسیر متون قدیمی اهمیت دارد. 

 

12. Grief

Syn: sorrow, sadness, mourning, anguish 

معنی فارسی: غم، اندوه 

مثال‌ها:

 او پس از از دست دادن پدرش دچار غم شدید شد.

 زمان به بهبود غم ناشی از فقدان کمک می‌کند.

معنی فارسی: مداخلات، اقدامات 

 

مثال‌ها:

مداخلات پزشکی زندگی او را پس از تصادف نجات داد.

معنی فارسی: رویکردها، روش‌ها 

مثال‌ها:

از روش‌های متفاوتی می‌توان برای حل مشکل استفاده کرد.

این کتاب چندین رویکرد برای یادگیری زبان جدید پیشنهاد می‌دهد. 

 

15. Promise

Syn: assurance, pledge, commitment, guarantee 

معنی فارسی: قول، وعده 

مثال‌ها: 

1. He made a promise to always be there for her.

 او قول داد که همیشه در کنار او باشد. 

2. The new technology holds great promise for the future.

فناوری جدید برای آینده وعده‌های زیادی دارد.
